Miami secured the signing of Bolles offensive lineman JJ Sparks.



He’s a 6-foot-3.5, 300-pounder who has nastiness, twitch and IQ at the center position.

Sparks, who has started since his freshman year at the North Florida powerhouse, is a big body who plays with an edge and shows good foot quickness to mirror and in open space. He’s racked up 1st team all-state honors for his efforts, and looks to continue to develop as the center...

Did Rochford play OL consistently? Unless I’m mistaking, he was mainly a long snapper for punts the and snap for placekicks…moved from the OL to H-back/fullback. Bc he was small but still was good at blocking.

Not tryna be pessimistic, but that’s probably SJ role if he is staying at Miami. We see how the scheme puts Brockemeyer at a disadvantage. If Brock is considered small, then what is SJ.
