I"m the most die hard cane fan there is but i"m also a realistic fan. Disrespect?, man we are coming off a 7-6 year! we got our assess kicked by pretty much every P5 team we played last year and with no established QB yet. 7.5 points sound pretty realistic too me especially after the season Florida had including beating LSU and Michigan. cmom?

Beat LSU at home

and Michigan without 4-5 defensive starters including 2 top 12 first round picks

Miami May have went 7-6 last year and I get It but Miami also dismantled pitt who went on to win the ACC coastal and was ranked #24 at the time .

We have questions that need to be answered and will likely be undervalued. Quite frankly that’s what this team needs as I feel The players get the big head when people tell you how good you are. We needed that humbling season in 2018.

Normally you can't apply the transitive property to football pointspreads because not all home-fields create an equal advantage. But since Miami/UF is at a neutral site and UF/UGA is at a neutral site, one could extrapolate that UGA would be -11.5 over Miami on a neutral site.

And I think that line is not way out of whack, but I agree that our line is too inflated and the UGA/UF line is too deflated.

Sinple, it’s Canes v Gatta, it’s like Rock v Scissors. Canes every **** time.

I’m just kidding around, but I expect that line to grow closer to 10 by 8/24. Since the first and only football game that weekend going to be heavily bet by the public. The total set by Vegas will be much more telling.
 
I'd rather be the underdogs than be favored to win against the #10 team with a new HC and offense.

Exactly.

Man I hate UFag, and as Canes we EXPECT to not only show up, but beat them....but to act like we have some reason to be over confident is ludicrous.

I will have monumental expectations for this squad if we tear into the Turds on 8/24.

I really hope you are not compering Pitt to LSU or Michigan? As for Pitt winning the Coastal, speaks off what a load of manure the coastal was last year and not how good Pitt was. Hopefully, last year indeed humbled the players because based on many posts in this site it did nothing humble canes fans. Im certainly looking for my canes to bounce back and to have good year under Manny's leadership and to build on it for the future.
