This board is populated by a lot of dudes who know the game very well. The anger and vitriol isn’t a response to any single poor performance or L. Or even a season full of poor performances and Ls. What you’re seeing is a (mostly) rational response obvious ineptitude.

You’re new here, and obviously not an X and O guy, so I get why you’d misinterpret things. This board has lived thru Shannon, golden, Richt and now Diaz. If you have any doubt about the mental state or football acumen of all the mopes around here, go back and read those old threads.

This place is pretty calm, cool and collected considering whats been going on in coral gables for 2 decades now.
 
Like I said. We’ll squeak a 3 point win and Manuelito is gonna bring out the Wet & Wild slip n’ slide and celebrate like we took down Bama.

Just hard to see a win this week with this product thus far BUT I won’t fall for the trick. Expectations in the gutter, pull off a few wins and ally of a sudden Manny looked at as doing a great job under difficult circumstances. Lol I don’t know what to think. Just play. My predicting is over.
 
This is the game we look freaking awesome and we start drinking the koolaid. Then, 1-2 games from then, they rip our hearts out again. Book it.

It’s a bad matchup. We will have to stop a down hill run game for the first time ever under Manny and beat them through the air. Otherwise it’s going to look a lot like Wisconsin 2018

I can’t wait to hear Díaz say MSU threw things at them they didn’t see before.

On a serious note, I think Miami wins this one.
 
The key to the game will be stopping their RB Kenneth Walker III, we stop him we win.

That means our Run Defense is going to have to play out of their minds, which means whoever the D.Cooridinator is will have to get the DL & the LB corps motivated & ready to play smart disciplined sound gap control & not falling for misdirection & cutbacks...

Or in other words, hope & pray Mich St doesn’t think we’re their Super Bowl & plays a bad game, because otherwise we’re gonna have a tough one trying to slow down their rushing attack. And I’m certain we’ll leave their TE’s uncovered even though they don’t really use them, they will vs us lol.

It’ll be another game where position for position we’re more talented than them with the exception of probably LB & DLine, but we’ll have more than enough to beat them, it will simply come down to how well prepared & coached we are.
