Miami won 7 games and lost to some bad teams. Pitt won 11 and a conference championship.
They're still only one spot ahead of us.

Quite silly to expect to be ahead of them.
 
Couple takeaways:

Ole Miss is being slept on in a big way.
NCST and Wake should swap places.
Mostly okay with the Top 10.
Pitt/Canes should swap with Kentucky/Cincy.

Well to begin Jarren nor kosi ever played NC state..you literally said you can’t take NC state or Pitt serious in your first response since they lost to manny Diaz teams..and no Miami should not be ranked higher than pitt or NC state. One was the coastal and ACC champ..one won 9 games including beating Clemson..Miami was 7-5..so nah man we are correctly ranked imo..the bolded can be said about Caleb Williams and Addison at USC..but saying that would be as foolish as saying “Slovis and this transfer Receiver? What have they done together to beat other teams”..but again that’s a asinine statement. Pitt lost its QB who ppl here didn’t even think much of until the year he had at age 30..they lost Addison who was a stud. They return their 2 next best Pass catchers and added a 700 yd 8 td kid. They added a QB with plenty of P5 experience and success. So they should be a team ranked in the top 20. NC state returning production and experience speaks for itself..we are arguing that a 4 win team and 7 win team should ranked ahead of a conference champ and 9 win team in a preseason poll..if Miami was nc state or pitt we would not be arguing the ladder
 
Rankings mean nothing anymore. There are 3-4 elite teams. 4/5-50 can beat each other any given day. Many of our games will be tight against the ACC teams which means we aren't elite(duh). Will we have a better record from not shooting ourselves in the foot repeatedly? I certainly hope so. That's likely the difference between 10 wins and 7 wins.

You are correct. Sorry. I was thinking Louisville instead of NCST.

What is asinine about saying “Slovis and some transfer receiver?” What have they proven together vs a TVD coming back to his team again with mostly the same receivers and offense?

They lost all their best pieces, we mostly kept ours especially the biggest one and added a toooon more all over. That’s not even getting into the coaching changes.

Not a big deal it’s a silly list, but I’d put any money on us finishing with more wins than Pitt.
