Until Pitt and NCST beat Miami, I won’t take them seriously. How many years in a row now we have beaten both of them? 5,6,7?

TVD roasted NCST.

Pitt never beat us with Pickett and Addison and Manny coaching us (yes, I know Pickett was winning QB in 2017 vs UM).

You’re right about USC as that is all Lincoln love.

very similar reasoning you use for both NCST and PITT: bunch of transfers with immediate upgrade on both sides of the ball. they added addison and williams plus Lincoln riley factor

Pitt must look at us like we look at carolina. "Every single year we are better than those chumps but we just can't beat em."

Not similar at all bro. Pitt won its conference and double digit games and returns a good defense and better oline. NC state returns a top 5 QB and a very good defense and won 9 games. USC won 4 ******* games. They added a 2 WRs a RB and a QB..the defense hadn’t been addressed. The offensive line is still ***..but based on 4 guys..they are a top 15 team from 4 wins..I think they be improved but not top 15 improved from what they were. Riley is a good coach and will get it turned around. But that top 15 ranking is outrageous imo

This makes no sense lol..aside the last sentence. Miami streak beating pitt erases all the other games pitt won?..including a conference title?? TVD playing a outstanding 2nd half vs NC state means they shouldn’t be taken seriously? Pickett beat the best Miami team since 05 as a true freshman..are we using this logic vs other teams? Or just Pitt and NC State

I didn’t say that NCST or Pitt shouldn’t be taken seriously.

I don’t see them earning the respect they are getting when compared to their head to head vs Miami. If Miami is and has been better, they should get the higher ranking.

Slovis and this transfer receiver? What have they done together to beat other teams? Whatever Pitt has done has been because of what Pickett and Addison did last year. I know their defense is good. But that defense didn’t stop TVD nor did it beat bad QBs like Jarren and Kosi.

Bad QBs like Jarren and Kosi scored a lot on NCST, as TVD did last year.

NCST, IMO, is better and will win more than Pitt, IMO but they are not better than Miami.

About right. Anywhere from like 11-20 is fair for us. Tons of question marks and maybe a lack of overall top end talent but a few studs and some reasons for optimism about the question marks panning out. Coaching bump might steal us one or two. I don’t make much of these anyways.

I’m a little pessimistic on this team. Would love to be wrong but I think we’re looking at 8 or 9 wins unless Van Dyke is like heisman good. Still a lot of filler guys on the roster. None of the transfers are game changers IMO
