Acc is rock solid this year. QB play best top to bottom in the nation & it’s not really close either.

Michigan and Mich St was not in this poll a year ago, Clemson was #2 and OU was #3. Some of these are gonna be about right and some are gonna be, wtf happened, good and bad.

Always the funniest thread of the off-season to me. None of these teams have earned anything, that's why it's a meaningless pre-season poll that's filled out by flinging **** against a wall.

Even UGA, they "earned" a good ranking by winning the natty last year, and they're rewarded by being ranked #3.

Well NC state returns one the best Defenses..a top 5 QB and a lot of experience. Pitt returns a good defense, added a Slovis who’s a good college QB, added a Transfer WR who was a 700 plus 8 TD guy to help replace Addison..the real question is wtf a 4 win team is 15th

Agree but the most egregious aspect is it establishes a built in advantage for certain team and especially conferences. All preseason polls does is create a bias and narrative going into the season that enhances greatly certain teams in the upper tier rankings to benefit greatly from wins and not be penalized as much for losses do to "preseason" rankings creating an artificial strength of schedule.

I am not saying those upper tier teams are not elite or worthy but with preseason rankings you add an extra advantage to their perceived strength of schedule.
