Rusty was a bad *** Cajun. One of my favorite Canes ever.

Is there another kind of Cajun?

Just watched his acceptance speech. Can't believe he started out as a long snapper..."Just to make the team." That's awesome. Definitely shows his character.

Yeah, caught that as well. He was a pretty decently regarded kid coming out of HS and was actually a really good athlete. One of my favorite canes ever.

Dude was just relentless. It's just too bad his career was cut short. I can still hear Keith Jackson in my head saying, "Rust-uh Medearis!!!"

I also remember how Kevin Patrick turned in an incredible Rusty Medearis impersonation performance vs FSU in 1992 with that black "98" pasted on his helmet inside the U.
