Yes yes another QB thread.

All I care about is winning so I don't care who the QB is (cards on the table I did buy a #18 jersey so I wouldn't hate if it were Tate)

We will know a lot more after tonight's scrimmage but with this coaching staff and the talent everywhere else do you think we can win (more importantly will we win) the Coastal with any of the 3 guys trying to win the job?

I tend to think yes, but Kosi scares me because of how inaccurate he can be on simple throws. I do think this coaching staff is good enough to coach around deficiencies.

Yes, We can !!! But we are going to be chewing on our nails during a lot of these games early on until the QB and OLINE position groups establish themselves.

Yes. Just a few % more in completions (a big jump btw) on O and Canes So long as Miami's D can hold/shutdown what is EXPECTED of UVAs emerging squad.

Yes maybe even with Tate too, but fck the Coastal... this side of the conference is trash from top to bottom except Miami.

We need to beat Florida I’m not going out like last season against LSU we winning at all cost even if we gotta do this..

Let’s summarize. One poster says if we can’t win Coastal then Diaz may not be who we think he is. Another poster says if we don’t win coastal then Enos may not be who we think it is. Typical responses by “entitled” Canes fans who pull trigger if THEY feel team, coaches and players not performing up to THEIR standards. How did Jimmy Johnson do in his first year hear?

Yes we can, like you I just want the best man up. A lot has been focused on passing. Who’s throwing what, where, how. We need to see who can run the O. It may not be the strongest or most accurate arm. The quickest release or feet. IMO, Enos wants the guy that executes his offense best. He said he would tailor the O to that guy. Strengths and weaknesses. Whichever of the 3 that gets it, we gotta go. 🙌🏿

If we can’t, Diaz is not the guy. We have more than enough talent to win the coastal, especially with a guy like Enos at the helm.
I disagree. If the QB play is no better than last season, we aren't likely to win the Division. Athlon has us #3 in the Coastal (behind UVa and VT) -- because they don't think we have our QB yet and they are betting this year will show that (8-4, 5-3). We'll see who's right soon enough!

How can it be any worse than 51% completion percentage 2154 yards 19tds 14 ints. We are talking all time lows in Miami modern football era. From 2012-2017(6 seasons) Miami passed for 3000 yards or more. Last year was just an anomaly period and won’t happen again

JJ came into a completely different situation and was handcuffed bc he had to run a defense that he didn't want. Diaz was part of the last staff and has his defense and defensive staff pretty much intact from last season and shouldn't miss a beat. The concern is the offense, which in theory should be much improved over last year if only for the fact we got rid of a bad qb coach and a past his time OC and a very underwhelming qb. Addition by substraction. So if Enos can produce even marginally better results we should win the coastal.

We should be able to win this shytbag division with you at QB. Stank *** Pitt won it last year. It’s the sorriest division in P5. If Enos can’t get one of the three 4 star QBs ready to win this ****, then he’s not who I thought he was.

PAC12 south and Big 10 West are SO awful, and this division trumps it. What a god**** embarrassment the last decade+ has been. 6 different champs the last 6 years. These programs all suck so bad, and we can’t win this this more than once since 2005. Christ.

But the answer to your question should be yes. Miami should have the best defense in the division. Nobody has the skill talent we do on offense. Field a half-awake offensive line and don’t run Malik Rosier 2.0 out there and yes, this team should be in Charlotte. Virginia is a the preseason favorite (and probably should be). Tells you all you need to know.
