Can we talk about what’s ACC/Refs beef with Miami

The games are rigged. It's not just Miami hatred, it's just the way it is. When gambling profits are bigger than TV revenue, well, you have to wonder. You also have to wonder how many coaches and players are on the take. How many conference officials. How many people in the NCAA. How scripted is this garbage? I have a sick feeling that in a few years we will all look back and say, "You know, I knew something wasn't right about it all."

We all believe the refs are throwing games. Who else is? Do they pay coaches millions of dollars to just take it and be quiet, or is it something even worse? How come nothing ever, ever comes from these terrible calls? Oh they'll fire one official every now and then, but only when they come close to exposing the cheating system by making blatantly obvious bad calls.

Makes me sick to say it, but the game we all thought we knew and loved might be as fake as professional wrestling.
@Rellyrell

Remember our convo on the board about this very subject... i think it was in the superbowl thread... one of em. do you think they're ready for the truth?

I’m not complaining **** about the refs when we have 12 ******* penalties and what 6-8 are pre snap?
Don't criticize the oline, they are above reproach and can do no wrong.. they are the real playmakers on this team, they should win heisman

No science here, but, it sure seems like 90+% of borderline calls that have a major impact on the flow, momentum, and outcome of the game go against us.

How many times, recently, have you seen a call in our favor and said to yourself, "wow we really got a good one there. That helped us (score, extend a drive, get a turnover that might not be legit etc.)?"

The first play should’ve been off setting penalties, giving us another crack, but this specific play was the correct call. It’s the same call we got last yr vs. UL w Ward that their fans complained about. As long the QB has control of the ball & his arm is going forward, even if the reason his arm is going forward due to the momentum hit from behind, they r going to get the benefit call.

This call is the new “gather step” that the NBA allows to justify traveling.
That line of thought is the same as the tuck rule.In no universe was he throwing the ball.

At first I thought the missed FG was a lucky break, but that was a good call

Listen, we’re trash with a trash HC.. yes. But what the **** is the real issue with us and the ACC refs? They make bad calls through out the league.. but something else is going on when it comes to UM games.

Pick a school, pick a conference ... those fans are gonna say the exact same thing about getting shafted by the refs.

It's like succeeding in life for most folks: Gotta be good enough to overcome getting the short end of the stick from time to time

NCAA can't do crap to Miami on the NIL front so they'll get you back on the field

I don’t know why some of you live and die with officiating? This is like ‘your thing’. I can’t imagine the amount of energy you spend in a season on this.

Complaining about mistreatment from Jim Phillips, officials, the media, whoever is akin to getting distracted and taking your eye off the ball.

We need to focus on our coaches and our players
