It's odd how the narrative on this board has become "every coach sucks except for the only one I'll accept for Miami." What if you'd be happy with Herman, Hue, Butch, or Fuente if we can't lure a pipe dream coach like Chip or Patterson? There isn't just one man capable of accomplishing greatness at Miami.

Losing by 25 as a double-digit home favorite is an undeniably bad loss. It shouldn't overshadow a coach's full body of work at a historically irrelevant program that won fewer than 9 games every year but one since 1963 before Fuente arrived.

These same mouth breathers like Op and Klamalama that were sucking Goldens **** up until a few games ago are now on here knocking a real coach.

- Have a Top 5 list that consists of one coach's name written five times because they've mindf***** themselves into thinking they're the only person on earth capable of achieving greatness at Miami.

It's truly making the board terrible. This is supposed to be an interesting and fun time trying to look at the options out there. This Butch **** is out of hand. I thought the love for golden was over the top but these dudes are worshipping a guy that isn't even in the top tier of coaches.

They actually think Nick Saban or Urban Meyer would be nervous if Butch was hired again. Those guys don't give a ****. They are the elite of college football. Butch is a tier or two below and they wouldn't lose a second of sleep with Butch coming back. A rational discussion would be nice.

His reputation was worse than Trooper Taylor's when he was at Aub, it was common knowledge to college football fans .He was at Okl in the late 80's , so he learned from best.

When he finally got hit with the show cause at Unc ,people were like " wow, took them long enough". People tend to know who the real slimy recruiters are.

Butch faced an out of control NCAA the same was as Golden did. They alleged all this untrue stuff. He suspended guys who probably didn't deserve it as sacrificial lambs for the NCAA. When the investigations were complete, there was just NOTHING to see. That is why they gave Butch the letter that he was absolved in the inquiry.
