How we beat Louisville and Virginia?

Both have very good coaches.

For the life of me I just don’t see how that happened.

I wonder about Pitt as well but they truly ******* suck as well

Because it’s college football.

Also, our team had no problem playing decent against average to above average competition. We only played like **** in games where we were the perceived favorites.

That "The beat us X times in the past X years" is so played out. This is a Manny corched team. People where saying all off season "Florida beat us once in 33 years no way they beat us".

The players actually tried if you cannot see that they only give a crap against teams that they feel matters that’s why they can beat anyone on the schedule and lose to anyone on the schedule and it will take awhile before that changes
 
Because our Cot **** head coach puts more work into sideline dance choreography and handing out participation trophies and bling development than he does in game planning and player development

No, I mean, UVA didn't go into that game sleep walking and/or thinking of another opponent. There was 0 eye candy on their schedule beyond us with the exception of their game against VT 6 weeks after us.

I see what you are saying, but they played horrible against us. They did not look how they usually did against us.
 
Because they are a talented group. Their problem is they are basket cases. They show up to play when they want to and other times they just go through the motions.

Its an important question... most people round here are running straight off of emotion so the conversation doesnt go deeper than ENOS SUCKS, BLAKE SUCKS, MANNY SUCKS. There is something else out there that I dont think many people have nailed down. Enos will land on his feet and this will be his worst year. I dont know if its the culture or what but really seemed like a couple of bombs went off during the season that stopped players from being able to perform as even decent college players.

This is at least a big part of the answer. Yes, Enos is awful and I'm glad he's gone, but there's still that team culture thing that's a very real problem. Remember "Clemsoning" from years ago? Playing up and down to the competition in an extreme way. That's us now, only we're worse. Manny has talked about this specifically after the FIU-Duke embarrassment. Doesn't mean he can solve it anytime soon, but at least he isn't in denial about it. If we get a quality OC who can optimize the scheme for our talent and move the ball/score, it could go a long way toward creating some momentum toward shifting this culture, especially with the incoming freshmen who haven't experienced it. It's hard to do it when you're losing. Players may say the right things, but if you subconsciously feel there's not much to play for, your preparation focus and game effort is going to suck.
