Am I dumb for thinking he can play with Booker and Herbert for a couple/few snaps to spell Bain and Mesidor this game because of the up-tempo offense? Apparently he has been full-go at practice for a month. I'd like to see it lol

We’ve got Lightfoot and Scroggins packages - more Lightfoot as Heatherman/JT appear to have significant trust in him. Could argue the same thing for Scroggins as he was in the game that final drive vs Ole Miss for a few snaps (or maybe the drive prior to the final drive…I remember thinking, “kid has really gained coaches trust to do his job if he’s in at this stage of the game”.)

Scroggins had a big tackle from the DT position vs Texas AM on the last drive.

To answer the OP, yes Lowe is allowed to play and still get a medical shirt. Just don’t expect him to dress let alone play.
