Former Georgia coach Vince Dooley has long led a movement to have Russell inducted into the National Football Foundation’s College Hall of Fame. That movement is enjoying new energy thanks to the recent efforts of Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Georgia Southern University.

I don’t doubt it…That’s why he should be the most vocal about it. Never heard a single peep from him on this subject though. Why not?

I have many times....There's many others who should speak up as well. Why you picked Sileo to be the catalyst, when There's many others like JJ....Butch (his DL coach for 3yrs)...JBs Son....etc....who could and should do the same.

I guess just because he’s had his own radio show forever. But point taken. Either way, wish a campaign of some sort would get underway.

JB wasn’t just a great player he was a leader and major factor in our program representing a cultural breakthrough in college sports back then.

The Hall is now in Atlanta, where i live. A few years ago i went to it, knowing Jerome wasn‘t in yet. It was amazing to me how many players...from his era. That played his ****** position were already in.
