cam ward's leading receiver ran a 4.89

First two years starting he a 1k receiver with a qb who didn’t even enter the draft and then he the best wr on our greatest offense but every off season we gotta see people saying oh he didn’t run a fast 40 or become a nfl starter so he somehow wasn’t that good lol like wtf
People don’t have the cognitive ability to separate college players from professional. Shocking development some great college players don’t translate.

is it possible to point out facts without it downplaying a guy?

if we can't agree that the athletic profile of our wr room has improved then we can just agree to disagree
Athletic profile improving does not mean players are better, thats what you’re not understanding

we had the number one offense in the country at the university of miami ... you'd think one of the receivers in said offense was a pro prospect however none were which in my opinion speaks to elite qb play ... what shocks me is people's inability to to deny the fact that TWO things can be true ... x was a helluva receiver while also having average speed and low end nfl talent ... cmon now

downplay or speak facts? nobody is hating on restrepo, but in comparison to our current room who does he start over? it speaks to elevating the room ... the 1k season prior to ward is fair ... however ward authored the best offense in the country and arguably the best qb in past 20 yrs with his leading receiver being a nfl practice player, cmon now
If Restrepo were here I absolutely bet he would be starting lmao.

You act like Toney can't play Z over Barkate.

not out to denigrate x ... never was ... i'll just say in most cases you would be right, however in this case said player had a better athletic profile and is better ...
You keep saying this, but there is absolutely zero chance you weren't out to denigrate X lmao.

Restrepo was a really good WR despite not being fast. Heck, Jacolby George was a pretty good WR too and wasn't that fast.

No doubt our current group looks much more talented.
Jacolby George had crazy game speed. If you told me he ran a 4.4 I’d believe you.
