Supposedly Daboll reach out to Borgonzi right after he was fired. Said he was a big fan of Cam Ward - Giants tried hard up to the end to get the Titans to make a trade for #1 pick. They spoke very early on and had some kind of understanding...
 
Its hard to claim a one year "rental" as an alum post college. Love that he feels that being a Cane supercedes his other stops. His constant repping makes it a lot easier for us, as fans, to tout him as a true Cane adding to our legacy and not just some mercenary.

After 20+ years of mediocrity and a lot of local, tide turning studs showing us their asses its nice to be reminded that the program carries major clout and that elite players love the U.

If Mario can keep it on the tracks, 5 years from now the league could/should be littered with the who's who at many positions throwing up the U during intros. That was always one of my favorite parts of National prime time games. Not only having a lot of alum starting on their respective teams but many of them being one of the best players on their team making huge game winning plays all the while repping Miami.

they need receivers much more than they need linemen. the OL is actually rounding into form after a rough start. they're run blocking really well (which is taking pressure off of cam) and *serviceable* in pass pro. still not great, but not the tire fire they were at the start of the season. the receivers are a nightmare. part of that is the offensive scheme which will change (hopefully for the better)- spacing and route concepts are consistently poor. but cam's top 3 pass catchers are literally all 4th round rookies- and they all flash promise and look to be solid contributors, but none of them should be more than a WR3 or TE2 at this point, and it only gets worse behind them. drops, blown routes, guys running into each other lol. we need serious WRs in the worst way. i'm hoping for carnell tate, jordyn tyson, or makai lemon in the first round.

If by rounding into form you mean turds then spot on. That line sucks ***. Need 5 new starters. Tons of holes on that team. Feel bad for cam. But at least they did spend in free agency.

There's something about the Miami jersey that you can get away with just wearing it around. Probably because it's a pop culture thing. There's only a couple sports teams in the world where you can wear that teams jersey and its fashionable.

Wore my big *** Shockey jersey for st. patty's darty and got nothing but people throwing the U up at me up here in DC
