cam ward .... stop it

If anything doesn’t this save his career? As much as I love Cam, but he wasn’t going to ever be successful with Callahan as HC
Depends on who the new coach is. He could want his own QB instead of Cam.

I mean if that's the case, he's better off in the long run. It wouldn't be the worst thing to sit behind someone like Mcvey or Shanahan for a season, then find a new home. Look at Baker and Darnold. Daniel Jones had a turnaround season with a new scheme. Even Mac Jones is making his scheme to be a starter for a team next season

Dolphins should offer Tua, our first, and any other player they want for Cam lol just take what you want. I’d rather him be here. 🤣

When Tua got his predraft physical, doctors identified a degenerative hip condition. Meant he would probably have a 7-8 year career before the hip problems really started affecting him. A lot of teams completely took him off their draft boards. But the idiots that Ross always hires decided a QB with a degenerative hip condition - and whose success depends a lot on his mobility - was worth drafting in the top 5, and then giving him a massive contract extension with something like one hundred million guaranteed. And now, about 7-8 years in his career, he’s got no zip on the ball because he can’t rotate his hips. Who could have seen that coming.

Ross knows real estate but he may be the dumbest owner in terms of hiring front office personnel. He should sell the team- more and more lifelong fans like me are deciding to spare our children the misery of being a Dolphins fan and finding another team to root for.

Anyways, that rant aside- the Tennessee Oilers would never trade for Tua, everyone but the Fins know he is damaged goods. It’s not just the hip- he’s another concussion away from his brains being scrambled eggs. I wanted Tua to succeed- I lived down the street from him in Ewa Beach and every tv down up and down the street would be tuned into Bama games when he was on the field. But sometimes things don’t work out. He needs to retire before he ends up being a 45 year old sitting in a wheelchair who can’t remember his own name.

Who could have saw this coming.
ESPN has a article couple weeks back about titans trying to buck trend of drafting QB #1 and hc getting fired when they start a rookie..

I knew he was dead man walking just in that opening paragraph, almost impossible to succeed in that position.. just like portal QB wit experience, give me the rebound QB after they flame out like baker or something..

The offense was awful and did nothing to utilize Cam's best skills. The players around him, minus the new guys who don't know any better, were old and awful. Ridley was supposed to be his go-to guy; he can't catch a pass outside of practice Now he's out with a hamstring issue.

The OL, supposedly rebuilt and coached by Callahan's father, was like a sieve. I thought Cam was going to get seriously hurt yesterday

They talked alot about tempo but rarely did it. Callahan was asked about play action in a presser and basically said it doesn't work in the NFL given the defenses. The very next week he runs a series of play action plays and Cam moves the team down the field. Last week, Cam threw for just under 200 yds in the 4th Q; they start this week with three straight run up the middle plays....

Just bad, bad, bad.....

it will be interesting to see GM approach to helping Cam in the draft/free agency. I’ve looked at a few mock drafts and with a little foresight and a little luck, they could grab 2 really good olinemen and begin to solidify that line for years to come. Draft highest rated OT and kick Dan Moore inside and then maybe come back with Conner Lew at center beginning of 2nd round or trade back up into the frst and get FM and send Dan Moore packing elsewhwere.

Or does GM go after flashy WRs to upgrade receivers especially if Ridley don’t come back?

Ridley has been useless in the big picture. They need younger, bigger guys. I think the TE guys are good enough
