Cam Ward stats

WTF are you even talking about? Because I used the term "corch"?

Go back and read this entire thread (the parts where I commented) before you go lumping me in with the other people like you're trying to. I made a comment about how Ward will likely not have video game numbers this year because - if we are as good on offense as we thnk we are - we will have the leads in the second half of most games and those leads will be large. Because of those leads, we will pound the ball rather than throw - just like the rest of winning football teams do. Mario has said and demonstrated repeatedly that he wants to be able to pound the rock. It's not a secret. Yet that makes me part of the bro style friends club?

And F You pal, I'm not going back and watching those games again. Suffering through them the first time was enough. How about you go watch the 3rd quarter, specifically the first drive, of the Southern Miss game. (https://www.espn.com/college-football/playbyplay/_/gameId/401411105) Then tell me he's not a ram it down your throat coach. Spoiler alert - it was a 13 play drive, 10 runs, 3 passes, of which 2 of the 3 passes went to the RBs. The passing game was off so Mario went to his bread and butter. I'm good with that.

Just to further clarify, I love Mario, corch or coach. He works his *** off and is a Cane through and through. I also believe in his impose the will mentality. I am not a fan of losing games because of time management issues, especially when we leave time outs on the table. And guess what? None of this paragraph has anything to do with what the original topic that I commented on, but somehow you took it this direction.

And the NorthEast sucks.
Did not read your nonsense except “WTF you’re talking about”.

I’m talking about this gem “Jimmy Johnson was not the caveman that Corch Mario is.”

You don’t seem to remember that to many, JJ was a corch after:

* The greatest second half comeback in NCAA history by Maryland

* The hail Flutie game

* Fiasco Bowl #1 (UCLA)

* Sugar Bowl against Tenn with a national championship on the line

* Fiasco Bowl # 2 (aka the Fatigues Bowl) another national championship miss.

There were similar comments about Butch (in addition to banners flying).

In all, fantastic resumes of corch-ness. In short, they were a corches until they weren’t.

No one likes the “interim” results, we’d all like a smooth upward trajectory but that’s not reality. You or anyone else have no business being judgmental unless you have first hand knowledge inside the Hecht how this came down. And I doubt you were on the sidelines when it happened.

Oddly, Big Dik seems appropriate as your user name. If you’re that fixed on Mario’s corch-ness, being from Cincinnati perhaps you’d be happier as a Suckeye.

Finally, I’ve seen corch-ness first hand. I was around during the Selmer years.

PS. Every place sucks if you let the ******** get to you. I don’t.

Have a nice day 😉

Am I crazy for thinking he is going to put up FCS numbers? I look at our schedule, the time he will get behind our OL and our skilled players and I can come to no other conclusion that he is going to put up 2021 type stats.
Could be. He never played with Wr’s that are this talented and never had a good OL. I was blown away watching tape on him. He was legit running for his life in every play and he was sacked a ton of times at wazzu

All I know is he has the potential and just needs a supporting cast and platform that can showcase his skills. We're giving him that.

Whatever his true potential is, we should see it this season.
Nah. Not Cam brother. This isn't potential we discuss when it relates to Cam. This is continued success. He has multiple seasons worth of results... He's shown the college football world who he is. All the same, we can say he has some room to improve. Ball security is where he can improve and I'm pretty sure he will because we don't need him getting out of the pocket and creating with his feet. Move the pocket when necessary but he's too valuable to be scrambling much.

I'm not saying he hasn't been successful; I'm saying he can do even better with a better line and receivers.
