Cam Ward is HIM

He's a difference maker. Only thing I could see was a few inaccurate throws, a couple of which our WRs actually bailed him out on.

Otherwise, no disrespect to our other QBs of the past 20 years...some of which were actually good and just had bad teams, bad coaching, or both....but Cam is just different. That was kinda like watching Patrick Mahomes.

If there is a better QB in the nation I would like for someone to tell me who it is because this guy is about as smooth as they come.

So glad we finally have a super star at the position. Been way too long.
 
Two things:
1. He’s playing for a championship if possible, not his NIL deal. The higher we go in the playoffs the earlier he gets drafted.
2. He’s Roger Staubach, only better. Sit his *** in the third quarter in games we’ve put away and play Emory. Cam is our Franchise. Don’t be Mike Norvell.

Happy to appreciate FINALLY having an absolute game breaker at QB. Having 1 QB drafted in 20 years (in the sixth round, no less) is absolutely unacceptable at what used to be QBU in the '80s.

Yeah but Ken Dorsey was a **** of a college QB as well. They failed to give him credit which I found wrong

Nonchalant is the word. Scares me a bit. But if it works it works.
 
During the game I looked at the Gator with me and said I see Charlie Ward with Cam. Both undersized Qb’s , good arms , good not great athletes that extend plays with crazy arm angles on throws. Then the throw to Jacolby happened and I leaned over and said “ oh , that’s Charlie Ward “. When I get home I was watching ACC PM and Coach Richt said the same exact thing. I haven’t see two more comparable qb’s in my life. I know some don’t like to compare our guys to rivals but this is a no brainer.

I watched Charlie Ward play all too often back then, and I think Cam has a better arm. I get the ability to stretch plays, but I think Mahomes may be an even better comparison

Sustain it the whole season and that's a Heisman resume type play.
