Nailed it. Probably the most important precedent Mario (and the money around the program) can accomplish short of winning a title. Turn this place back into QB U and it'll scare the **** out of the CFB world. And it's something that can now happen quicker than ever with the portal.

To have won the bidding war for Cam AND then have him perform like this is a nightmare for anybody that thought/hoped this program wasn't going to be relevant with the big boys in the NIL era.

He’s better than all of them. Even if he doesn’t make the HOF, different time different era different athletes all over at every position on multiple squads. The quick release, the pocket awareness, the scrambling, off platform throws, accuracy. He does everything better than previous qbs but you expect that cause the game gets better and better and so do the athletes…..except fsu

Alston has been able to be disruption = production guy. He's showing a lot of skill. Toolbox if he was abducted by the military industrial complex and genetically altered to maximize performance on the football field.

Tyler Baron...rocketship up draft boards. Full skillset. That Ball State game was unreal. Just tossing jabrones like that looked like they were in high school in comparison. He's ready made for the league right nah.

As to the bold...

Jason Taylor might just be that good. This should be an absolute destination for any EDGE rusher in the nation that wants to be developed...this can even be an elite finishing school with Taylor - who is a pro level coach...probably one of the overall best EDGE developers and coaches in all of football, all levels - when guys like Baron get drafted in R1 in 2025 NFL Draft. Alston is getting drafted. Reuben Bain may be crowning achievement when its all said and done. But Baron is making a case for it himself right now.

Making the CFP & Cam taking down the Heisman would alter the course of this program for the foreseeable future in one of the fastest turnarounds we've ever seen. And this isn't a one-year wonder like you hear the SEC pundits saying...Mario recruits too.

We've played 3 cupcakes in the non-conference. Cam has got us to garbage time in the third quarter and everyone, including our backup special teams units and walk-ons, have seen snaps.

Can't ask for much more as we move on up to a tune up against a newly promoted Florida Cup contender.

Really impressed/surprised with the Alston pick up!
Baron and Cam are more expected, but Alston is a much welcomed surprise for me.
