Didn’t know OSU did this as well but def looks like it’s a hit with the kids. Looks pretty cool to me. Miami should try something similar but with trophies instead of shoes and logos
 
I could see Michigan being the real threat. They have the money to buy whoever they want . They got the qb in highschool in 2025 , flipped him from lsu $$

My only complaint with Russell and Lopez is they are TINY.

(And yes dip****s I understand you can get bigger so stfu)

But since they both play basketball could be why both look so skinny, and if CR is actually 190 I think that’s a big positive

CR is also 6’5. I wouldn’t categorize him as “tiny”.

If Lopez ends up in this class it’s because we missed on a flip but I’m not confident at all with that take. Lopez camp not happy how he’s not prioritized more.

I think we take 4-5 WR’s in this class. You won’t find many rooms better in this class.

Elaborate. Not confident it will happen? Or not confident that Lopez will be there? I assume you are referring to sunshine committed to UGA.

I also think if Brayden Robinson comes on board, that bumps Lopez out. JMO.

I hate to make the comp for all the stereotypical reasons, but the Lopez recruitment at this stage reminds me a lot of the Restrepo recruitment.
Really good local athlete who has all the production you could want and a lot of athleticism, but not the height and speed.

But every good team needs play makers. And they aren’t always the tallest or fastest or biggest. Just ask Jalen Brunson.

Agree. I like Lopez and think he can and will contribute on this level but with everything there is a pecking order.

He def has more juice and a/a than Restrepo does though, respectfully.

Imo I don't see why Lopez wouldn't just be a +1 if he wants in. I mean sure NIL is likely to be the decision point. Not saying he's like a top player that's a +1, but he seems like the exact type of guy you add on back half of roster for depth and maybe is a dude in 2-3 years. Like if we are at 105 schollies, and Im looking at our WR room, I ain't tripping if we bring in 5-6 outta HS and a portal guy. Ray Ray probably leaves. But we have *** depth returning next season. We need a monster WR class this yr. And if we get 6 guys and then in a yr the bottom 2 leave.... Well that's a win for me...

I’m not confident Lopez gets in.

Robinson is definitely one i think ends up in this class. Wingo is another they want.

You know what else was a hit with the kids? Dressing up in Gator gear and jumping for pictures on a slippery surface…kicking up their feet in a filthy stadium…standing next to a fancy sports car loaned by an alum who reneged on a $14M NIL deal…
