No slight to Calais at all, but it says plenty about the Dolphins D when a 38 year old DL has been their best player on D this year.

So many terrible contracts. Giving Chubb $100m to sit and relax for two years. Giving Ramsey even more money when he had a huge deal already. Not paying Van Ginkel the reasonable amount to pay Shaq who retired lol

He's 38, still playing in the NFL and has 109 sacks (including 4 this year).

There's definitely an argument to be made.

Absolutely… and I really like Calais too I believe Wilfork was better while he was here. It can be difficult trying to compare a DT to an Edge player but overall I’d put Vince above him too.

Good call. So out of the six listed (Kennedy, Maryland, Brown, Sapp, Campbell and Hendricks), who you leaving out of the top five??
I believe three of those six are in the NFL HOF.

Calais played his entire last year at UM with a detached groin. He had surgery to repair it after the season and before the NFL draft. Thus him dropping to the second round, pick 50 to the Cardinals. Legend.

In the pros? He may have turned out to have been the best one sans Sapp. He has had an unreal career.
