Haha had this exact same thought. NOT pleased with this. What a joke.
These aren't your normal 19 year old kids. They are on a schedule that requires them to wake up at 5-6am most days. The time adjustment can definitely have an impact, to say otherwise is just blind bravado. If you think 19 year olds are asleep at 10:30pm, you don’t know many of them and it’s been a long time since you’ve been one. We’re fine.
100% planned so Miami players will be asleep during the game. They could’ve put this in many other time slots. This is crap
Nothing like taking eyes off of your conferences Heisman contending QB. ACC just can't help themselves.

Also, we have Cam McCormick. 11pm is about 6 hours past his bed time. So not all 19 year old.
I'm guessing they will travel a day early to acclimate to west coast time.
Then my suspicions are confirmed.I'd add ESPN and ACC officials hate you personally as well.
I have the memo.
Fortunately? Dude's been in college on scholarship longer than Van Wilder.Fortunately no but the real Cam might just take a nap as well.
The decision to kick this game at 1030 is horse****.
What possible reasons could make this sound like a good idea.
1. Maybe a hyped Mami carries bigger numbers in the late timeslot, I get it that no one is gonna watch VT @ Stanford but people are going to want to see Cam Ward and the Miami offense.
2. Maybe the late AF kick ***** with Miami and they literally come out sleepwalking and lose. Which does nothing for the ACC except crater it
The slate is dookie that week. Literally the only other game that really looks to be decent in the SEC is at Noon and you got Clemson FSU which will be over after the 1st Quarter. I would have scheduled them at the same time that way when FSU ***** the bed you can get most of that viewership to flip over to Miami Cal to get some common opponent comparisons. Once FSU Clem goes south everyone is going to flip away from ACC matchups to other top 25 games.
Why place the game that is likely to garner the most national interest that week in the worst possible timeslot?
If traffic in Berkeley is anything like SD/LA then hopefully we’ll arrive by pre-game warmups.Nah, the team is leaving MIA at 5 am Saturday morning, with 3 connecting flights. Should make it to the stadium by 6:45 pm, traffic permitting...
That's where I land on this. Team can acclimate to the time change
Is there an industry accepted formula to adjust those timeslot ratings for EST when Miami makes their case in the future?
