Probably and also, WR is a difficult position to transition to from HS to college.

You know Golden only redshirts about 5 or 6 freshman a year. I'll play the odds and say the kid will be on the field this year.

If he gets any PT this year, that means Brady and Langham messed up somewhere. He should redshirt. Time for Brady to work his way into that 5th slot. So that he can gain exp because he should be our 3rd or 4th WR in 16'.
 
Red shirt would be smart, but since we don't do that, he'll see limited snaps unless he becomes a red zone weapon.

He'll be our tallest WR and I expect him to arrive fully on the scene his sophomore year. We've lacked a jumpball kind of guy at his position and hopefully he can fulfill that roll.

The only true freshman I think will get time are Tyree St.Louis, Sheldrick Redwine, Jaquan Johnson, Bar Milo, & Charles Perry. Everyone else will MAYBE be redshirts or barely get snaps.

Love it...Cager calling out the idiot fans. Many of the same fans who whined, *****ed, and moaned every time anyone criticized a mistake a kid made in the game, because that supposedly meant they were "slurpers" making excuses for the coaches. Yet there they are talking down Cager before he's even had a chance to prove himself.

Sorry but nobody really said anything offensive about Cager. People are just not expecting him to play much, which is normal for a freshman.

I think this attitude is better than everyone hyping up the players way too **** much and then being super disappointed when they don't show up during the season. Let Cager prove that he belongs on the field. It's a big step from those little kids he was playing in Maryland to playing in the ACC. Hopefully he balls out and is not the next D'Mauri Jones.
