Tonight offered a brief glimpse as to why Cager will end up being one of the great wide-outs in college football.

Clearly, Coach Richt believes in the kid...as do I.

It's a good thing that we cut Cager loose like so many suggested. Oh, wait a minute.....
 
Anybody who has ever coached a team or a on a team knows you can't just give up on your guys. Sometimes it's this kind of stubbornness that gets a coach fired, but other times, it'll win you a lot of games.

Major props to Dugans for having his boys ready when their number is called.
 
But I thought all the coaches and experts here say he need to be run off like day said about Berrios.
 
Why any player would be disenchanted here is beyond me. Earn your spot, simple as that. Cager will be fine, watching him go up and snatch that ball was awesome.

Oh yeah...the in-house experts fired both Cager and Berrios a number of games back. They were demanding that Cager never see the field again and predicted he would soon transfer to a Mid-American or USA Conference team.

you and I both. Kid is uber talented just needs some confidence. Our leading WR tonight. We have so many WR with talent and have 3-4 more elite guys coming in!
 
Coach gives these kids a lot of chances to show what they can do in a GAME, but if your chance comes up.... get it done or it’s next in the rotation...
I feel bad for Richards, he try’s repeatedly to get him the ball but the kid is always double or triple covered

Harris has some talent to. Just needs to focus better. But just like Cager his time will come . He will never get a ton of passes but he is a good WR as well.

I agree. Just a weird time to go with 3 back ups...it was 18, 80, and 81. 4 or 8 catch that and might still be running.

Lawrence Cager puts things into perspective. After the FSU game, he went on Twitter holding himself accountable for the worst game of his career, saying he needs to do better

Dionte Mullins goes on twitter the morning after one of our biggest wins in recent memory to complain about not getting enough playing time despite never doing **** here.

Work harder or **** off. This is a team, not a stepping stone to the NFL. This is how it goes.
 
Cager owned up to his failures against FSU, then went out and walked the talk. Good for him. Where we had a bunch of question marks at the beginning of the season at WR, we now have a lot of proven players who Rosier can be confident in.
