Cager

happy for him, we were all getting on him especially me. U can tell he felt real good about that catch and he deserved that celebration

Shout out the young man for getting right mentally and staying ready.

Had to do a double take after he Moss'd the DB, looks like a completely different player.

As one who was really critical of Cager's effort earlier in the season, give him credit for making a big 4th down catch on a 50/50 ball that moved the chains and leads to a UM score. We could really use him down the stretch especially with Richards fighting through nagging injuries. Hopefully, this game gives him confidence moving forward.

Honestly, a pattern is developing: early on, CanesInsight users call a Miami player a Jag; then, said player proves them wrong.

Michael Jackson
Darrell Langham
Lawrence Cager
Braxton Berrios
Dee Delaney
Malik Rosier

To name a few....

I trust this coaching staff. If they believe in one of our players, I do, too.

It's an epidemic...as I have been counseled, don't read the game day discussion thread as most every coach, player, cheerleader and hot dog vendors are brutalized. Just a few games ago they wanted Rosier to be drawn, quartered, packed-up an run out of town on a rail. Simply amazing!

The big body set they had was awesome to see. Richt said **** it and did what he wanted.

Good **** Cager, I knew you had it in you. Let's stop writing off players period, especially underclassmen. These kids got scholarships to Miami for a reason and our coaches do a tremendous job of developing players as well. And it's only year 2, the present and future are so bright.

Hopefully, his performance last night helps him get his mojo back. You've got to wonder if his knee injury made him tentative out there contributing to the alligator arms earlier in the season.

Kid has faced a lot of adversity, some physical, some mental. It was nice to see him respond and play confident. He has a very high ceiling. Welcome back, Mr. Cager.

I’m proud of the kid - I for one was afraid that after that dismal performance and a terrible case of alligator arms against FSU that he was going to be damaged goods for the rest of his career...

It looks like he has decided that he will not allow fear to creep in anymore. He absolutely out-physical’d the ND dude on that long catch down the sideline. That was all want-to and strength.

Now do that more, young fella

Cager realized he had to step-up his game. He met the challenge, I'm very proud of the young man.

I said Cager would have a big year, if healthy. I put him above everyone not named Richards going into this season. Well....him and Richards have certainly been hit by the injury bug.

People questioning things, that's fine. Saying someone should transfer when there are other factors involved (dumbasses still haven't learned that just because someone is supposedly fine or not on an injury report doesn't mean they're 100% physically or on the same page as the rest of their unit ) without the complete story, that's just idiocy.

Guess what, people can be wrong as well. Love the posters who act all high and mighty when these situations developed. Both extremes look silly.
