cager at best will be a role player. i hope im wrong but he is not fast, extremely skinny, and has struggled with injuries since high school. if we get Harley, Holloman, and/or smith or anyone else near that good, he is not seeing the field much. You guys talk about "he can go up and get a jump ball" like this guy is a tight end

You don't know what he will be, he didn't play much under Golden then got injured. And when did it become a criteria for you to be a TE to go up and get a jump ball?

Fact is the matter is you want to write the guy off and he's a true SO who just missed the entire season and was used sparingly as a FR. By your logic, if Mullins gets injured next spring and misses the year god forbid, he will be a bust as well then...

cager is a kid to watch out for. everyone recruited him he wasn't a golden special. he had offers from bama , osu, and other top schools. he is a legit 6-4 and I don't know where people get he isn't fast enough.

richt called him out because he said he wasn't using his size enough not because he was slow. he said when u are 6-4 u need to play like u are 6-4 , cager is also what 19, he wasn't an old sophomore like some. the kid will start next year opposite Richards with some of the kids getting shot in slot.

i think he'll start next year if he's healthy. if you watch this catch he had vs FSU last year it seems obvious that he will at least bring the ability to provide another big target on third downs. it starts at 3:58.

also frankly unless mullins really breaks out we don't have an obvious outside WR across from richards. braxton will need to move inside i think.

the kid at maryland i told u guys about would be our best wr behind richards and coley. kid made huge plays last year including against mich st and ohio state. Cager made a catch in an FSU game. wow. amazing. im so sick of fans with the trayone grays, lawrence cagers, etc. let them prove something first.

if harley holloman and smith come, he has to fight very hard for PT especially if Mullins picks up the playbook. i felt he was overrated. he was not fast and had injury problems in high school. just never saw it with him. hope im wrong
