Seen it on 247 and i guess a poster got it from rivals. Not much info but it's something.

"Byrd says it will take alot for Tennessee to catch UM. Rated the visit 8 out of 10. Says CMR & staff tried to talk him out of visiting Tennesse, he will visit with his dad & Fils-Aime".

Would prefer he not visit UT, but such is recruiting season.
 
8 of 10? Never seen Miami close/keep a recruit who didn't say their visit was a 10 of 10. He is the most important recruit we have!

That 8 worries me as well. 8's are usually given to teams chasing, not teams in the lead. Hope i'm wrong because we really need this kid to stick.
 
Didn't give me alot of comfort. His mother is NOT going on the Tennessee visit, which I take as a good sign.
 
I Think Miami keeps him , Byrd would be running away from immediate play time the day he steps on campus if he didn't come here and let's be real, playing time matters a lot

So Fills-Aims is officially visiting Miami with him? Is that what this post says? If this is true then it seems like a deal struck between the two, I'll go with you if you come with me. Can't be bad for us.
 
Feel like the perfect set up for a nice "I'm 50-50 and will decide on Signing Day" coming out of the weekend.
 
The 8 out of 10 isn't that big of a deal IMO considering he's been a strong commit for so long. It'll take a huge impression to pull Byrd

Nothing would surprise me. I don't even think it as pessimistic, but realistic. Kids taking a visit, with his best friend and taking his dad. Door is certainly open.

Isn't the article also saying his best friend Fiks-Aimes will be visiting Miami with him and his dad or I am reading it wrong? If that is true, do you think this move is bad of Tennissee? I see it as a deal between two best friends to accompany each other visiting the school that they are committed to. It's more of a courtesy/friendship type of act than real interest in the other school.
If you can draw from Fils-Aimes visiting Miami as a genuine interest in Miami (which you can't considering he never showed interest before) you have to apply the same conclusion to Byrd visit to Tennissee: No real interest.

What is a Fils-Aime? I don't see it on Google.
