Byrd is an elite player... Fils-Aimes is just an average Florida back who didn't deserve attention from this staff because we already have a much better back committed in Homer.. Would suck if Tenn landed an elite player like Byrd because of his scrub teammate..

Yep. I think Carlin wants him to go more than anything. They are basically brothers. Byrd hasn't pressured Carlin into Miami (whether the new or old staff was on him or not) and Carlin hasn't pressured Byrd into Tennessee and I don't think it will. I think they realize what the best decision for the other will be and that is to stick with their current commitments.
