bye week ... qbs to target for 2026

THIS IS NO SHADE TOWARDS CARSON BECK ... however i think most people agree that the qb of next year's team is not on the current roster ... who are some guys that we should look into this offseason during the two week portal window based on their play thus far ...

i'm a big fan of hoover at tcu
also the kid at california

-Sorsby (JR; Cincy)
-Sam Leavitt (SO; ASU)
-Demond Williams (SO; Washington)
-CJ Bailey (SO; NCST)
-Josh Hoover (JR; TCU)
-Aiden Chiles (JR; Mich St)
-Devon Dampier (JR; Houston)
-Rocco Becht (JR; ISU)
-Conor Weigman (JR; UH)

Leavitt or Hoover would be a home run. Sorsby and Bailey would be great pickups. Everyone else is a step lower but has big upside, especially with our OL and permiter guys.

5. Raiola - Nebraska
6. Williams - Washington

8. Simmons - Miss

Both should be realistic options and would get us to win another 10 games. If you can get them early then you can also go get more WR/TE targets and maybe an elite OL to put at RG

Hoover and Washington are probably going to be available.

I would be surprised if Mensa or Williams are though.

Agreed, but counterpoint is that it's also nice seeing our QB1 get drafted to the NFL every year, ideally in the 1st round
 
How good is Simmons at Ole Miss? Did he lose the job this year because of injury at first?

But seriously if he has his head on straight Nico is the best available
And he has 2-3 years left as well
