By no means making excuses but the officiating

In last night's games was about as bad as I have ever seen. I would like to know what actually constitutes a holding penalty. Cager is actually being undressed by a Wisky DB with both hands. The DB is actually trying to get a penalty as opposed to give up a TD... wow. The Harris hold occurred on 3rd down. Wisky scored a TD a few plays later.

richt was still steaming about it in the post game conference

Our DE's were getting fvckin' tackled, literally.

Go watch Joe Jackson on the 1st long run play that Wisky had. (1st quarter)
He literally get pulled down by one hand.

I didn't think there could possibly be worse officials than the ACC officials we had to deal with all season but I was praying for the ACC officials to show up at halftime last night. Those referees should be ashamed of themselves. And MR was right to take that penalty for dressing down (and probably making contact with) the officials. At some point, these referees need to act like professionals and actually do their jobs. Officiating is not the reason we lost last night but man it would have been nice to actually have competent officials at the game.

Did the SEC have a hard-on for Richt because he left the Conference?

That can’t be it.

The back-to-back plays Trent Harris was caught in a rear naked choke before they scored their last TD in the 1st half, and Cager being raped on national TV that led to a pick, that's a 14-point swing. Wisky's a good team, they don't need that kind of help. **** those incompetent $EC refs.

Officiating most certainly did cost us this game. Just give me two plays back that there were blatant no calls and despite Malik handing them the game on a silver platter we would have won. The first was the blatant hold that MR got a penalty on and put them on the 5 yard line. They score a field goal and we get atleast four points back. Then the cager hold that wasn’t called gives us at the least another three points(with most teams guaranteed but our kicker missed like a 25 yard field goal).

I’m just saying we can’t win having no calls, bad special teams play, and horrendous qb play unless the turnover chain comes out more then four times. This defense hid some very frustrating flaws in this team all year that should be fixed with a qb, depth, and hope Bubba Baxa is as good as his name sounds. Honestly feel we are very lucky that it seems to be an issue of missing a coupe pieces then coaching. Anyone who doesn’t see progress and a team on the verge of regular national championship aspirations year in and year out is blind as a bat.

Maybe this is true but I just don't like blaming outside factors like officiating for any loss. In the end, we gave up more points than we scored and that's why we lost the game.

If I recall correctly, even the announcers mentioned the wisky dbs had been known for holding and grabbing all year. As witnessed last night, they seem to get away with it pretty regularly so why stop. I hate excuses, but those refs sucked ***. Oh well, here comes another long *** off-season to dissect everything related and unrelated for that matter.

well you have a point. the refs have been against us since jimmy johnson was here. its blatant and will never stop. however, right now we just dont have the talent level to overcome it.

This was the worst season ever as it pertains to officiating. Over 600 plays and two holding calls in our favor.
Top five in sacks and TFL's and TWO holding calls?

I beg to disagree! If Wisconsin is called for an obvious holding prior to halftime- the HOLD which Richt literally WENT OFF, and seriously wanted to TKO that Johnny Rebel, good ol' boy, corrupt SEC ref. Then Wisconsin would have been out of FG range, and it would have been " 3rd and 24!!!!!! " And even if Wisconsin completed a pass of 12 or 13 yards, they still would have been out of FG range. dUH

Halftime: Wisconsin 17, Miami 14

But then again, Badgley missed that FG late in the fourth quarter. So Wisconsin probably would have won... 27- 24. But it's all MOOT now. hUh.

Ooops, sorry for the down vote.

Those ****ing $EC diaper bags, I hope they grow a cactus up their a$$es.

The ACC needs to look into this, and never, ever again agree to those corrupt mfs have anything to do with our games.
