Buy your tickets pls

Tix are going for under 50 bucks per now and dropping.. No one has an excuse.. They either want to go or not at this point..
The issue w that is it doesn’t fill out the stadium in terms of a sell out. Only way it sells out is if Miami drops their own prices for unsold tickets which they didn’t. These are all already paid for tickets that are being sold

I cant do anything about that, was more just giving guys heads up who were looking for cheaper tickets.. We already know the AD played their hand wrong, thats on them..

I work in 3 very different areas of Miami and broward.
Just because we know all the changes and the added talent on the team doesn’t meant your average fan does.

The local fan base has lost faith. As far as they’re concerned we are still the same team as last year.

You want big crowds in a city full of events and where the cost of living has skyrocketed in the past 3 years and the team went 7-5?

You need to reestablish a fan base.
Can’t depend on the fair weather fans that only show up when the team is good or when we play a ranked opponent on a Friday or Saturday night so they can post it on their IG.

If your losing recruits because the atmosphere is **** poor then your not gonna win.

Put butts in the stands by any means necessary.
At one point the admin understood the task at hand.

Dan Fckd up big time on this one. I’m sorry. But this is a huge statement game.
This should’ve been sold out days ago and 100 for nosebleeds should’ve been the after market starting price.

Instead, tickets are dropping like the Dow Jones in 2008 cause you didn’t read the room.
They did a **** poor job of marketing this game.
I think the ath dept did a poor job of marketing the entire season tbh in the off-season. Their we’re gonna be closed to media mentality is stupid bc as you said it turns off the average fan from having interest. Those puff pieces and coaching speaking tours that richt used to do drive interest. Should have done more marketing in general.

It was probably Frenk..... Rad only pushes the right buttons...😎

This ignores 40 years of South Florida fan history. Either people want to go or they don't, regardless of price. The University hasn't been able to give tickets away - literally - if we're not contending for a title and playing another top team. The best team we've ever had played to one sellout. We had 52,000 people for #1 vs. #15 that year. Why? Day game. South Florida "fans" are hard to please.

Blaming Dan for this is absurd. No amount of marketing has ever worked to get South Florida people to mid-level sporting events.
Really?
I can go to several restaurants where kids eat free on a Tuesday or a Thursday. But um can’t market 5 dollar nosebleeds to kids under 12.
I’ve been a season ticket holder since 2016 and this is the first time I’ve seen them do a bogo.

I’ve never seen them market jack squat. No special promotions on the radio and no signs or sports media coverage for special rates.
No family packages. No one out there during pre wee games with special rates. No under 12 specials prices.

“Babe I just heard on the radio that kids under 12 are 5 bucks let’s take the kids”
Hey look! 4 tickets and a 10 dollar coupon for concessions for 50 bucks.

Never seen any of that.
Tickets for nosebleed for have been cheap as **** for some games. But nobody knows about it cause we’ve sckd so they’re not gonna check.
If nobody is paying attention then get their attention.
I’ve spent more money on stuff down here that was less fun for me and my family than a um game.
But the athletic department decides to do a bogo 2 weeks before one of the biggest and most important games in a long time and why? Because they fckd up.
But Dan has nothing to do with it?

All of my potential game compadres are out.
I'm giving away my other ticket.

Section 216, Row 1.
It sits about the 22 yard line.

Rules:
1. NOT for resale. If an Aggie shows up, I will hunt you down.
2. You'll be sitting next to me. Wear protective gear.

The good news is that this will get national media attention.

So you want us to be a major player in college football in 2023 and you want to get there by selling tickets for $10? My goodness.

👀👀👀👀
You have peaked my interest

There’s no shot that this game isn’t sold out. Still plenty of time Thursday/Friday for people to attend but this is the biggest home game we have this year…even Clemson may not be as big after what happened @Duke

This is a top 25 SEC opponent there is absolutely no need for this stadium to not be filled (which I think it will be)
Stevooooo you out there tomorrow ?.me and my dad thinking bout showing up round 1230 for canes walk

From the marketing team to Mario and all parts in between. Not good. arrogant and tone deaf to be honest.

News flash. After market nosebleeds for certain games have been that cheap at times but only on non um sites.
But nobody checks cause nobody wants to go or has had no idea how cheap they’ve actually been. Like I said, make a **** effort to the local fanbase know that going to the games isn’t that expensive and it’s actually a great time with the family.

We won 5 national championships and it started by giving away tickets with a whopper. UM lost that fanbase by wanting to be the Harvard of the south.

When we go back to being a national powerhouse you can start charging that much.
But the perception right now is that we suck and charging 125 per seat in the nosebleeds just because we’re playing tamu is just stupid.
