Butch Piece on HuffPost

I read VT fans on twitter saying they need to hire Butch Davis.
Butch would own there. It would be terrifying how they would destroy us. We'd have to pull a Gator and change conferences to get them off the schedule. (Yes I know they didn't change conferences)

Ditto on half page article ad. Someone do it or start campaign on that gofundme website to get money for all things Butch. Assuming that's everyone's desire.

This article is just the latest example in a trend that I have started to notice recently. Everyday the cries to hire Butch Davis get louder and louder. From alumni and former players to coaches, journalists and the fans. I believe the #BBB movement could very well erupt into a frenzy that this stubborn BOT will not be able to ignore. The more people that speak out about wanting Davis back the more it becomes apparent that this is a no brainer.

Another benefit of all this media attention is that the BOT will not be able to hide behind their ridiculous excuses for not wanting to hire him such as the UNC scandal and the manner in which he left over 15 years ago. I think the college football world realizes how dull and bland things are without Miami at the top of it's game. People want to see UM dominate again. Even the haters can't enjoy hating us if we continue to be mediocre.

If we keep it up with stuff like this, the BoT will be forced to AT LEAST give Butch an interview. Lets be honest, if he gets his foot in the door... its a done deal
 
Damnit.....get all alumni, fans and former players to pressure these hacks and get this man an interview!!

Outstanding. I do not read much on left wing nut site but I am certain if I did, that would be the finest piece any of them have ever had. While I don't read it, that site is good for the administration and BOT. I love the feminist slant with the 17 year old girl thing. Should be required reading for entire UM staff and BOT. Crucial for them to realize that big name football helps enrollment. That is important to them -- more kids to brainwash. My oldest grand-daughter just started OSU because I would no longer let her trust fund pay for Miami. They will get none of my legacy, either flesh or cash, until they prove they care.

Keep up the good work. You opinion probably matters to them more than any of us sports nut dudes.

But-hurt feelings shouldn't get in the way of making the right hire. I want Herman first, but I would be jumping for joy if we hired Butch.
