Don't matter. He is like JayZ. Doesn't need marketing. The streets keep his name relevant. Dude when that 30 for 30 "U2" comes out in two weeks Butchs name will once again be the hottest in the streets! UM admin is just the worst not capitalizing on this potential free promo! Could you imagine if we dump Als a$$, hire Butch, and when "U2" premieres..and they say "What if I told you..... the U was back!" and it pans to a modern day Butch throwin' up the U! (a man can dream right? smh)

There is one thing to talk and another to say look what I have done....already. Recruits ask...where is the signing paper. The guy got SO FL players to freaking UNC for crying out loud

No, Saban is the exact same age as Butch.

So Butch stays 5-10 years. Wins three or four National Championships. What's the problem?

While I think Butch would be awesome here, and can evaluate talent really well, I think you guys give him way to much credit for those recruiting classes. I mean Golden doesn't choose everyone we go after, that's Brennan Carroll and James Coley because they are the recruiting coordinators. Same goes with Butch, his recruiting coordinator was in charge of recruiting. During the season the HC doesn't have enough time to scout and all that, maybe during the summer, but definitely not during the season.
Just saying, you guys put a little too much emphasis on the HC when it comes to recruiting.

...I'm still hoping next year after Golden is fired, we get Chud as HC, Butch as DC, and Dorsey as OC. Doubt we'd ever spend enough to get those Coordinators though.
 
hope Butch is around after new President cans Golden & Blake. Is Golden a younger version Of Charley Weiss
gets the cash and results are mid level at best..... if he doesn't turn it around most likely goes where would he land ?????
