Exiting bowl season, the Hurricanes rank 105th in yards per game (359) and 113th in passing yards per game (167.3) out of 119 teams.

They mustered only 169 yards of total offense against the Badgers
 
Davis brings an NFL attitude with Him that scares your typical geek alum. Miami is full of these types. They'd rather have a fake preacher like rich than a bonafide real football coach and the admins cater to that ***** line of thinking. They need to scrap that and bring In a Real one immediately.

Real coaches attract and get real football players.

And I didn't compare Butch with Nick - the comparison - if you had the grey matter to notice - was that even the mighty Saban can lose a game - but that loss doesn't define the coach or the man.

Here’s the thing. 8-5 and 9-4 with superior talent than almost every team on the schedule isn’t a recurring theme with Nick Saban...Butch loves that theme though.

Often, I see the video of the team in the locker room - and exiting toward the field - yelling "Hit! Stick! Bust ***!" Oh, that gets you going!

Know who's guys those were?

Butch's guys. That's who. And that's his attitude.

His teams NEVER came out flat.

Some people have short memories. He lied going out the door ONE week before signing day. I like Butch too but why isn’t he still at UNC rather than bottom feeder FIU? Think we all know the answer to that. He will bolt FIU at the first offer.

can we please stop the " coach X would kill it with our athletes" crap ...... Miami does not have an elite or championship roster.
Miami needs a coach that has the skills to totally rebuild this program.
why isn't Babers even in the playoffs ? SMH

Did Butch handle his exit properly most likely not, very few coaches leave programs with any grace.
I will always believe that he was pushed by Donna who wanted Barry Alvarez and her henchman Fat Paul;
they were playing games with his contract..... dispute over buy out i belief,
Donna/Paul wanted to reduce buy out a certain percentage each year rather than a full year 2.0m if they let him go.
Along come the Browns offering 15M ....... what would you do ?
