Really? He was 28-15 when SC fired him. Butch was 29-14 at that same spot, under almost the exact same conditions.

Pay the man 2 mil to be HCIW and learn everything about our history from butch for three years. He'll also learn the fertile grounds of state of Miami. I guarantee you he'd be willing to entertain it to say the least.

And he's already been mentioned as potential head coaching candidate at Power 5 schools. He's not taking a demotion to come here, even if the money is better.

Also, in what galaxy does Miami pay $2M for an assistant? Golden barely made that as a head coach.
