You say he's smart for wanting to keep his options open? Does that not say the same about admin. for wanting to tie him down if he signed on? Either way we would be in the same place regardless. He wanted another year to get his ring and would he have left. The slow downfall was going to be begin. What is the difference whether it started in 2002 or 2003?

Butch‘s time has passed, even though a minute of his time is a year of Handy Mannys. I wanted BD multiple times the past hire attempt. Now unfortunately, Miami is living off its name 20 yrs ago...
 
Again, for the Millionth CIS time....Nobody said Butch "Now"....Point is...somewhere from 01-2014 he shoud've been....Just think for a second what UMs classes would've looked like from 02-2012-ish??....You saw what he did from 97-2000...all of a sudden he was going to Miraculously forget how to evaluate & recruit??...Lol...He was revered in the HS circles throughout S. Fl.....Our program would have NEVER sunk to these depths...When it was time for him to leave UM....I can guarantee you he would have left it better than he recieved it, just like in 2000...
