Butch Davis would’ve had this team competing with Clemson

Remember when Butch blew a two game lead to lose his Conference USA division? Meanwhile UAB who didn’t have a football team two years ago just won the whole thing!

But that was before recruiting rankings and services even existed. Now those athletes that should have been five stars are five stars and they are being recruited by Bama.

See, people that don’t realize college football has changed still want Butch

Mark richt gets paid more than a lot of coach that are better than he is. The coach at Miami Central, the coach at st. Thomas and the coach at Miami Northwestern are all better than Mark richt.

It was reported at the time that Butch was close to signing with the Canes and then his wife reminded him; "They love you today, but don't forget that just a few short months ago they were flying signage planes calling for you to be fired." And then the Browns had a new head football coach!

So, just as the confederacy of dunces tried to burn the program down with Butch being their main target, the confederacy of dunces is now trying to burn the program down with Mark Richt being their latest target.

Just like the Butch saga, this is going to end very, very badly!

What’s your point he just won 9 games and beat a very respectable mid major program at FIU. They have been a top 5 worst program is division 1. It takes time to build a program and he’s winning so I ask what’s your point?

Lane kiffin did a better job than Butch, UAB didnt have a program two years, were awdul, and won the conference before Butch

That’s not his responsibility. He’s not suppose to check police reports daily. He’s a coach that’s suppose to win ball games and that’s what he did. How does trying to be a little choir boy and a soft pu$$y like Richt work, it doesn’t. Look at what Georgia is building.

We really need to stop the butch talk already. I don’t like richt but really tired of the BBB. He would be better than pastor but BBB is not going to happen.

Talk is bull****. What matters is no one is throwing money Butch's direction. Only butt-boy gives him bottom heap job and now he's fattening up on TV dinners.

As for superior HS coaches, there's a reason they're HS coaches. Vastly different job & skill set. Probably some 7-on-7 coaches think they're better qualified than the trio mentioned. St. Thomas coach is definitely a better recruit, but isn't he the same guy folks on this board were ripping a week or so ago as an under-achiever? Maybe you missed that.
