FIU won today
Interesting. I didn't think to check for football scores on a Friday at noon.
FIU won today
The impressive thing about butch wasn’t that he recruited 5* players, it’s that he found the 3* guys who should’ve been 5*.
His evaluations were the key.
Hey, just face reality. Both are now head coaches in Miami - one eating at Joe's Stone Crab & the other Captain D's. It is what it is.
There was no playing with Butch’s contract. Miami had agreed to pay Butch enough to make him one of the highest paid coaches. Miami agreed to make the contract practically guaranteed. The only sticking point was the buyout. If Butch wanted to retire here, a buyout should not have been a sticking point. He wanted to keep his options open.
But that was before recruiting rankings and services even existed. Now those athletes that should have been five stars are five stars and they are being recruited by Bama.
See, people that don’t realize college football has changed still want Butch
What? You are irrational and a silly person. Putting you on ignore so I don’t have to read your childish comments.Mark richt punk-*** stated that he was willing to accept a offensive coordinator job. What a ******* loser.
FIU's Phillips played all season despite warrant
FIU running back Shawndarrius Phillips was arrested earlier this week on a domestic battery charge, nearly four months after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Learn how to read and comprehend? Is that better?Always enjoy reading a response from somebody with such a limited vocabulary. You can’t make your point intelligently, so you just resort to verbal abuse. Classic!
What’s your point he just won 9 games and beat a very respectable mid major program at FIU. They have been a top 5 worst program is division 1. It takes time to build a program and he’s winning so I ask what’s your point? What’s your point?? His strong suit is supposed to be recruiting right? He was brought in to legitimize and sell FIU as an up and coming program.
From a recruiting standpoint he doesn’t appear to be doing it.
FIU finished 9-4. their BEST SEASON EVER ... Butch Davis' 2 nd year.. pretty good accomplishment.
He can evade shoulder tackles, arm tackles and 14 police departments

I’m all for Kiffen to UM as well. His culture is perfect for UM.Lane kiffin did a better job than Butch, UAB didnt have a program two years, were awdul, and won the conference before Butch
That’s not his responsibility. He’s not suppose to check police reports daily. He’s a coach that’s suppose to win ball games and that’s what he did. How does trying to be a little choir boy and a soft pu$$y like Richt work, it doesn’t. Look at what Georgia is building.FIU's Phillips played all season despite warrant

What I am going to post I believe is really saying something...your post is one of the dumbest EVER posted on this message board. Hoping against hope that you were just kidding...failingly trying to be ironic. That’s not his responsibility. He’s not suppose to check police reports daily. Mark richt gets paid more than a lot of coach that are better than he is. The coach at Miami Central, the coach at st. Thomas and the coach at Miami Northwestern are all better than Mark richt.
It is what it is.
Oh like Rorcht after his great Georgia career, having the powerful university of Virginia as the only losers knocking on his door. Until Flake Blames......Richt would never have accepted a job at mighty fiu. Only an old desperate has been x-coach wanted to work at fiu.
