Butch Davis questions Golden and direction of Miami football

This university is dead to me as of now. It was poorly run when I was there. It is beyond abysmal now. They'd better not call me about donations anymore because whoever the poor ******* is (on the other end of the line), he's getting an earful. The place is laughable in just about every way I can think of these days. Shalala and her merry band of idiots can kiss my ###.
The place is just a mess and I don't trust some candy###ed pr##k from William and Mary or GWU to make things right academically or certainly not in athletics. (Just what we need: Some bourbon-sucking pan$y socialite twit from DC or Virginia trying to pu$$ify the place even more than it already is.)

Just makes me puke. I have NO interest anymore in what goes on in Coral Gables. As for these godawful teams we put on the field, forget it. They're not worth a dime of my money. I feel sorry for the kids who bought into this clown show's BS and are stuck with it, but that's about all I care about there anymore.

I am right there with you. Over 50 years a fan, in OB for the Flop, alum, fairly big donor for years, I have never rooted for any school except Miami. At this point I am prepared to give up on college sports and have already started spending the money I had set aside for my grandchildern to THE U(15 of them). I would rather donate to various casinos than give another dime to these smucks.

Some people dislike Butch because f how he left. Keep in mind how the smucks who run THE U treated EVERY winning coach we ever had. They stabbed Howard in the back over his plans for an on campus stadium after he won the NC. Foote berated JJ over walking out on the showers lovers. Foote also threatened to fire Dennis after the Cotton Bowl in between NCs. Given the administrations's track record, I am inclined to believe Butch's version of them working him over on the buy out percentages. And now thanks to Donna's donor greed helping to cause the nevin scandal, we are stuck with our third horrible coach in a row and the worse since before Howard.

This school has been under one horrible administration after another. It's just never been run well. You just know they will #### up this hunt for a new President. When I heard they were talking to people from schools like William and Mary and George Washington, I almost puked, because, being from that area originally, I know they are looking at first class ###holes. Another clown that will micromanage everything and be an insufferable #### about it. It is disgusting.

All true. It is amazing what our football program did. Other schools would give up human sacrifice to merely hire a decent coach and take over college football. We just need one mistaken hire of a decent coach intent on NFL HC job and we will be on top again -- at least until administration can kill it again.
