I ate lunch with a colleague today and the topic of UM came up (regarding non athletic stuff). We discussed the elitist nature of UM and how they seem to be out of touch with the surrounding community etc. Makes sense. The only reason UM got noticed was due to the football team. Yeah I know they got a good medical school but that aint bringing the type of recognition that football brought.

Admin trying to be the harvard of the south and would rather be nationally recognized as a top notch cricket school than a power house football school. How the **** do you win (and play) for so many ships and yet have a football faciltiy that is comparable to a high school? ****!!!!!!

Our anger should be focused at Shalala (less so now that she's reportedly checked out) and the BOT.

Well, that's because he's a weak, spineless *****. Hocutt came here and actually had power. That guy couldn't have fired Shannon fast enough.

Anybody condoning what is going on at the athletic department is a ****, but they aren't visible and don't say the dumb **** BJ does so I can't hate them as much.
 
Golden has zero respect, he regularly gets the wool pulled over him. The only local kids he can land are the one who either don't wanna leave home or whose parents force them.

We're lucky Florida just fired their coach or else our class would be a lot worse than it is right now. FSU can't take all the best SoFla prospects. We'll get some by default, but not many.

I REALLY, REALLY wish this would happen. But of course it won't(at least not this year) and all we can do it hope for the best.
