I just have to laugh at any thread that that the name Botch and god in the same sentence. He literally has never won a single thing. Sucked at UNC , Sucked at Cleveland . Sucked here minus 2000 BUT i will give him credit for recruiting well. There is a reason his name is Botch though - he is a horrible coach . Great recruiting , bad coaching. There is a reason he is at FIU .
 
He was such a simple yet slam dunk hire. Breaks my heart that we don’t care about winning anymore. We gave a guy who had zero chance of leaving an extension. We are stuck in **** fellas.

... and "Butch Da God" was only part of the equation; the rest of it was a type of player and individual that no longer exists with today's pussified, entitled, social media-whoring players. Most of those greats signed on to play for Miami when the Canes were in the toilet—KNOWING there were gonna be some more down years, but wanting to be a part of a special rebuild.

These days, a true freshman quarterback wants to transfer out after year one of not being used properly—while would-be fifth and seventh rounders are going pro a year early (when not ready), opposed to guys like Reed and McKinnie coming back for their senior years, a year after Moss, Wayne, Morgan and Lewis all returned for their senior campaigns in 2000.

Butch Davis in 2018 has zero chance of recreating the success he had 20 years ago as the game has changed, but even more-so, the players have changed.

Wait, this clown is trying to compare resumes? You do realize Butch won a super bowl as DL coach and DC. He also developed around 40 1st round picks. Meanwhile Rorcht.......

Further evidence of the biggest decline in coaching stature in the history of sports. I’ve never seen anyone else master the art of a reverse legacy the way Butch did.

FYI, Butch Davis won as many titles as I did with all of that first round talent.

Don't pay attention to jagoff. He's too dumb to realize Butch was being paid millions by North Carolina to not be a head coach, this "not in demand" coach gets millions from UNC, gets paid as a defensive consultant in the NFL and gets paid to analyze and commentate football on ESPN. LOL when Rorcht gets fired, he'll be back in Georgia sitting on a front porch rocking chair talking about plays from 30 years ago

ok how bout this small little fact. Butch coached what 5-6 years and the bigs called with the check book, our ole buddy Mork, has coached forever, and i dont recall the bigs coming in with the green. I'm sure Jag will say he turned down the Dallas job twice but there's a reason the NFL came after Butch and never went after Mork, and if the NFL wants you they eventually gone get you. Settled ??

Just tonight the family mentioned a friend's child who was fairly autistic - and how it was really a shame, and some of his behavior flaws were manifested.

Now - I see you trying to outdo this young man who has serious problems with logic - and I'm seeing someone here that's seemingly bent on going full ******.

How in **** can you manage to make any possible jump from making bank from his contracts, doing television etc., to assuming Butch is right where he wants to be, and was planned for so long?

I don't understand why you have a weed up yoorass over Butch Davis - did you mom hit on him and he turned it down? Is he your daddy and has disowned you? Did Butch shoot your favorite pony? Cause you to come out of the closet - prematurely?

You're trying too hard.

At this rate, you'll soon be claiming Butch Davis sank the Titanic, dropped the Twin Towers, and that he's the reason you're so butt ugly.

Appreciate that. Thats pretty cool. I would like to see a few of your pics if your figure it out. I need to dig through my old hard drive and see if I can find a few pics.
