Great. One would think that such a championship caliber coach would have, you know, a championship on his resume instead of a bunch of five loss seasons and a Bahama Bowl win.

You act like he was just given those players by some football god and blew it. So he lost a game with an amazing group of players he assembled earlier on the process to a championship. Sounds substantially more impressive than anything Richts ever accomplished.

No it doesn't.
Davis put a helluva good team together. He still never won anything, even with that group, as a coach. And yes CMR's overall record is superior to Davis.

Oiled up? I just showed you that the 2001 team had to do it without four 1st round picks and 7 draft picks overall. Butch had everything he needed in 2000.

So how many undefeated teams have the gawd Sabag had in all his many years of coaching? It's very very rare to have an undefeated team and 1 or even 2 losses many times as no bearing on the coach. They're are so many factors and elements on the field, officiating, etc

Posting verifiable facts is pretty much the definition of "rational". Are you suggesting that Butch has been the unluckiest coach in America to constantly find himself in scenarios where he can't win a championship?
