I just checked and he didnt account for one play and thus has redshirted. If you remember the talk was about how he would create his own legacy. Well we lost 3 RBs to injuries, transfers and not making an NFL roster. Looks like he could have logged serious minutes here. Oh well.

Ended up being a blessing in disguise. DeeJay Dallas emerged and now we are looking at a loaded 2018 stable.

People on here still crying about not signing that dude.

All those carries he got at 4-8 Maryland this year moves him to the 2018 Heisman Watch list for sure.

It most definitely was not a blessing in disguise.

McFarland didn’t play because he wasn’t hurt. He’s still an elite talent and you need to stack all the chips you can.

True dat...Dallas runs like a man on a mission while Whoopie pranced around like he didn't want his dollar weave pulled out.

Never understood why McFarland was rated so highly. Kid ran behind a stacked offensive line at DeMatha which was the strength of their 2016 squad. DeMatha produces great linemen. Good prospect but he isn't better than the two kids we got coming in.

Well we did in this class. I love what dj offers as a running back. Always thought he would be one but a lot of people tried to say it was stupid. Good thing is he’s just an athlete and can play anywhere on offense due to his excellent hands

DeeJay is great but that’s not the point. McFarland was a huge loss.

By that logic we're doing great because we have Burns. Both kids are potential stars, but neither of them has done a thing to make another school wish they'd landed them. Not saying we didn't want him or that we're better without him, but until he shows it on the field, he's just another 4* taking up valuable bench space.

DJ Dallas has the vision and savvy of leveon bell. Technically, he may be more savvy than Duke, given DJ looks like a software developer in pads. Never in my life have I seen someone with so much baby fat, yet still skinny, do the things he does.

It even begs the question. Could DJ dallas have completed 60 percent of his throws this year if he played QB? ****, dude probably could have beat Pit and UV as our starting QB. If he could hit a 10 yard slant and an out route, he's immediately better than Rosier.
