WHAT EXACT IMPACT DID YOU GUYS SEE SO MUCH? LOL

Like i always see ppl say these things but no one ever can point an say well see he took over this game...its the same sh*t with Derwin James.

Im not saying hes not good....just that ive seen elite safety play and it looks alot different from what i see with caleb downs.

Is turnovers the only way to make an impact? Cut the tape on and watch him and tell me you don’t see high level impact on the field at multiple positions.

Im not debating whether you think he will be elite or not but ke and kobe over him is an asinine take

Edit: I shoulda read all your comments first

I watched a lot of OSU the last few years

I respectfuly disagree. Downs is a really good player that got the hype early and no one bothered to watch much after that just kept repeating the same things

He’s more a linebacker. He’s not a Derwin James (if we use a non Cane I hate) type

He made a 17 year old fumble a couple times though

Itll sound like homerism if I keep going but Keionte Scott was more impactful than Downs last year

Reading your other comments though yeah he’s a guy you take that has almost no downside. He will play Day 1 I think. I wouldn’t say that I would take Scott over him in the NFL draft context

I think T Bowles’ praise of Sergeant 0-KS is a testament to the DB coaches more so than JT…

But the praise Bain is getting and has gotten is definitely a testament to JT…

I think these two are a recruiting boon for the defensive staff and Heatherman…

He also let the 17 year old block him at least twice on our clinching drive.

Yeah Sanders was really fast. Ran a 4.35 at the NFL Combine.

Downs declined to run at both the combine and OSU's pro day.
