2028 Brysen Wright WR Mandarin

You said a lot faster. That’s just not accurate. Mali will not run below 4.5.
Dude, we’re splitting hairs here, Malachi Tony is faster and that’s all that matters. I can guarantee you he will never run a 4.6. And I believe from what I’ve seen on the field from him and the speed his dad had, that Malachi can run a 4.4 when it comes combine time. But either way, he’s faster then Peter ever was.

OK, I understand what you’re saying. Because Peter wasn’t actually very fast at all, but he did have an explosive first step which led you to believe he had speed, but he didn’t. But I will say this, not only is Malachi explosive, he also has long speed. He literally pulls away from defensive backs and that’s something that Warrick wasn’t able to do.
DBs??? Warrick couldn’t pull away from….

Mali is way faster and more explosive than Peter Warrick ever was. Warrick was shifty but he never had breakaway speed.. Mali does. He just slows down a little after he breaks away but he’s working on that as well.

When FSU fires Norvell - if they land a good hire, that creates some buzz, the donor money will flood in. They will throw a lot of resources at Brysen to make him the centerpiece of the rebuild, knowing his dad is a fan, and probably wants him there. This is the scenario that would be more of an obstacle for Miami than Ohio state landing him. But best believe Mario will build a monster 2028 with or without this kid.

Likely too late. NSD is Dec 4th, and unlikely FSU makes a splash hire by then. And if they do, not enough time to build a relationship with Brysen.

If they fire Norvell this season the new coach will have a whole year to recruit wright. 2028 is far away. A lot can happen but he’ll be a Cane.

Yep. Not counting FSU out at all. They get the right coach and they will absolutely be players in his recruitment.

Kid like that aint going to no ground up rebuild. He is a WR, who depend on structure to get him the ball. Which is why we were struggling to recruit these very players when Cristobal came in. Being in the basement is different than having a couple bad seasons.

And im specifically referring to the elite of the elite players.

Norvell's buyout by year -2027: $42.5 million, 2028: $34.0 million. Add around 8 -10 for staff buyouts. Then take that same number and put it towards a new staff/roster to be competitive year 1 (NIL + new staff cost and their buyouts).

Only way FSU manages to pull that off is if one of their diehard fans wins the lotto.

Don't short him, the kid can run. Just because he isn't Santana Moss doesn't mean he's hurting for speed.
Trust me I ain’t shorting our best player we recruited in quite some time. Just saying top end speed wasn’t his forte. His game has no weaknesses from what I see.

My bad, I got 2027 & 2028 mixed up. I stand corrected here.
