100 percent. This kid plays like a 3 year vet. He is a baller. Leads the P4 in INT.

The way Buchanan used to set up his blocks on both returns and INTs reminds me a lot of how Bryce does it. Runs like he’s jogging but he’s hauling *** but still changing direction as it’s happening. Really a skill you don’t see much.

Nah nowhere near. He sees it before it happens and has the speed to get there. Cam doesn’t have the speed but he makes up for it with some guesses and film study.

That could be legit. Bryce can still run a 4.48 in pads. For other guys, that 4.4 turns to a 4.6 / 4.7 play speed.

I always thought it was stupid for the NFL to make guys run the 40 in shorts. They don't play in shorts. I want to know how fast they are in pads. At least I would if I were a GM.

So would the guy who invented measuring 40 yard times, Tex Schramm of the Cowboys. The entire reason for timing a 40 yard dash was to determine whether someone was fast enough to cover punts; hence 40 yards and a 4.5 being so important when you consider how far a punt travels and the average hang time. Of course this speed makes a lot more sense in pads.
