Bryan Pata case update - upcoming bond hearing for Jones

The defense will 1000% make your argument. The police wanted to frame this on Jones, even as ot go so far as to pretend a witness was dead, all so you would not have the benefit of seeking and hearing from the witness directly.

You and @grover and @3FW and @caneingville need to consider law school at some point. Your questions are perfect. My wife is a law professor. She would be impressed at how well you understand these complex issues.
Much more comfortable digging through documents & playing a small part in investigations. Kudos to both you & your wife. Keep doing what you do.

Rashaun is a fellow Cane so I'm not gonna rush to throw him under the bus. Free him if he's innocent. My cousin is doing 60 years in Alabama for a crime he didn't commit. Most importantly, RIP Bryan Pata.
Unpopular opinion but this is where I am. Call me idealistic or naive, but I very much still believe a person is innocent until proven guilty. Ive always approached law and order this way especially after being summoned to jury duty. We have courts for a reason. Let them do their job.

If he is in fact found guilty, throw him in a hole beneath the hole.

But every accused man deserves their day in court and the facts we get before trial aint always the full facts.

I have a friend who represented a guy charged with capital murder. Spent three years in jail awaiting trial. Was offered a “time served” deal in exchange for a guilty plea to manslaughter. The client said NO. Jury convicted him of first degree. Did not recommend death so he was sentenced to life. Still says he is innocent but no new evidence has appeared and the Innocence Project gave up his case…..either an idiot or truly innocent.

Sadly...there is no "in-between"...
