All of you thinking Bruce is going to Florida... I think are a little to jumpy. As long as KB is at Miami Bruce will be. We all grew up in the same neighborhood called "parkway" or on maps called broward estates in central Ft. lauderdale. Bruce`s aunt was my peer counseling teacher at Parkway and she wont say a word to me about him lol.


Kb has to stay on staff if you want to recruit "Lauderdale". Ryan Shazier, Chris Lammons, Eddie Jackson, Calvin Ridley, Marcus Roberson,Phillip Dorsett,Stacy Coley, Skai Moore, Sony Micheal , Isaiah Mckensie, Anthony Moten, Tarvarus McFadden , Torrance Gibson. Its crazy to think that in a radius of less than 4 miles all of these kids have lived next to each other at some point in that radius.

There are more like Quincy, Brandon Powell, and the kids at Flangan and Ely, and even Hallandale but you cant get them all. But ehy are from Pompano and South Broward area. If put a lock just on Broward and Dade we wont lose I promise you

I1m 22 so the kids that use to dominate in little league are now Top prospects its crazy. And if you wondering Stacy was the best in little league by far out of everyone.

Bruce is a Cane.
 
This non sense about keeping kb on staff to recruit Broward is non sense. Kb going to bring Bruce to ucf with him? Or usce?

Richt will have someone on staff who knows Broward County well whether it's kb or someone else.
 
Not understanding the point you are trying to make OP. All those guys you just mentioned play for teams that KB does "not" coach for. The 2 that do, were here prior to his arrival. Doesn't seem KB is the necessary piece we need to get our players. Now I "think" KB is a solid coach at the very least. But at this point, I'm taking the approach " In Richt We Trust", if KB stays fine, if he gets replaced fine. The only one Richt could keep to make me get nervous is the DC from previous Corches staff. That would not be so easy to accept.
 
Is kb not a good coach? Stacey coley looked like a new player after his sophomore disaster. Then a 3 star r. Scott had a monster season when he did play. Ill give CMR the benifit of the doubt but beard isnt anything we should be worried about really
 
I was a firm believer in Sam Bruce giving Golden and crew the thumbs up to sign with them. Then hit them with the okie doke come signing day he putting on a blue hat.


Now that Richt is here I'm 50/50 waiting to see how Scarlett performs in his bowl game.
 
I think McClendon was the guy who pulled Michel to go to GA. If Richt brings in McClendon he has a guy that has recruited that area already and has been successful. He wouldn''t need KB just for that purpose. And hearing Bruce's last interview he sounds like he is a Cane first and foremost. I will also add Richt was recruiting him to GA, so there is mutual interest built in already.
 
Kinda like bringing Ice on staff locked down Dade, eh? I have no problem keeping Beard but to insinuate that in doing so that we'll lock down Broward is a stretch.

I don't think anyone is worried about Bruce to UF - maybe a month ago, but not anymore.

I don't buy the nonsense that KB has to be on staff in order to sign all the Lauderdale guys. Who has he signed from Lauderdale since he got on staff? Heck, he lost out on one he used to coach in Scarlett. Having KB does not put FLL on lockdown like you think it would.

And what recruit has KB brought so far???? This is ridiculous, I want Bruce just as bad as the next guy but to suggest that we have to keep KB to get him is dumb. If we don't keep KB and Bruce goes to Florida will Florida hire KB??? Straight BS
 
Kb wouldn't be at Floridawith him but bruce is already comfortable with uf coaches. Kb might be the only coach bruce is comfortable with on miami's staff.
 
From my point of view... Coaches... mean and carry a lot more weight with us fans... These kids don't play much into that process... they have already had ten coaches ... going through Pop-Warner to High School... they will adjust long before we will. I'm certain they have guys that they like or even trust but bottom line these kids are making choices based on who they liked... who their parents liked.. who is popular at the time... who is winning... who can get them to the pros... they are not channeled down to one particular coach. Case in point 3 of the 5 recruits that took the OV this weekend would be enrolling in a few weeks regardless of who the coach is... they are sold on UM... Listening to current players this weekend they would have continued to play for last coach.... They are all ecstatic with the new coaching hire... but they would have made due with the last... In a divorce its normally the kids that adjust first... God made them that way sorta like a survival mechanism. I love the guys on staff right now but they more than anyone else know that this is a business.. UM and the staff will be ok.
 
Lol He's not saying KB had to stay on staff to get all of lauderdale. The point was to show that there is a talent pool in a really small area that escapes us every year. That's all and to show why Bruce is not leaving because KB is like a father to him. Not saying KB is the only person that can recruit lauderdale.

I feel what he is saying... KB will make ANYbody feel at home... I sorta wish I didn't know any of the staff.. that way I would not have any feelings one way or they other... but that's not the case... I would like for them all to stay... but that is not going to happen... Its Business

KB is incredible. Improving the health of Coley and Scott versus last year was an amazing job.
 
I guess the OP must believe Sam Bruce is a liar. He could not have made it any clearer in the interview after the state championship game that he was playing for the canes. It is not productive to let fear run your thought processes.
 
Nothing I've seen suggests that Bruce is not going to stick as a Cane. I'm feeling good about his commitment.

I'm a fan of what I've seen from the WRs since KB has been aboard. I'd understand if Coach Richt has other ideas, but I'd have no problem if KB stays on staff. I'm feeling the same about Coach Scott, Ice, and Hurlie.
