Bruce Feldman Says a Loss to UL puts Golden on THE HOT SEAT

Losing to UL twice in a row will put Golden in serious danger of losing the team. If that happens, Golden will be fired at the end of the year.

James and Shalala love Golden

Plus he is setting us up to be elite in 2015 and beyond....he's not going anywhere

Well here's a nice big load of bull****.

Shalala was fuming after Golden's bid to get the Penn St job, which not surprisingly, he lost. He has to win this year.

What proof do u have that she was fuming?

My cousin who works in her office.

His name's Vinnie.

Going on the hot seat after losing to UL is jumping the gun a bit isn't it? Are they trying to drum up interest in the game? If we don't make it to the ACCCG this year, then Golden could be on the hot seat. And then we get to go thru 2015 with a coach trying to keep his job. But after the UL that is only 8 days away? You disappoint me Mr. Feldman.

Randy was my most hated corch of all time. But if AG ****s the bed this year, why should he receive any more leniency than Randy did? B/c he's a good speaker? B/c he used the world "rejuvinated" in his one word team description. No coach in their 4th year as coach should lose to an unranked Louisville team who hasn't even been in a major conference yet. Period. End of story. And if he does, he's not the right guy and deserves to be on the hot seat.

Agree. My thing is I am willing to see how we finish the yr. and the only thing is ,we have lost to unranked opponents for ten yrs. this is nothing new. I just want improvement. Just at least some flashes of greatness. Just survive this yr. after the chips(recruits) are stacked for a few years, I could careless who the coach is.

Lose to UL, and the wheels might come off right from the beginning. Make no mistake. This is a HUGE game for UM and Golden.

UL is bringing in an entirely new system on offense, defense and special teams, and they lost their best players from last year. UL should not be expected to be clicking on all cylinders the first game of the season with 3 entirely new systems.

On top of that, they have a new QB with no experience. Bad DC with a pretty complex system that takes time to learn. UM recruits from a better talent pool than UL. If Al can't go out there and get this win, then he's going to have an uphill battle to keep things together this year.

Way too many things in his favor for this game (forget the Rustled Bowl because it's meaningless for THIS matchup) for him to lose this game.

if were blown out id agree. a tough loss would make no difference and golden is fine. he will be judged on his body of work this year but **** get a 5th year due to Shapiros. bS.

Golden is no where near the hot seat even with a L to UL.. Donna, James, & the BOT absolutely love Golden.

I may be wrong about Golden already tanking this season, with a "Wait till Kaaya in 2015" pre excuse.

We will know if Heaps starts on Labor Day if I am right.

He didn't try to bolt because he expected to succeed here. I'll say that.

He may feel the pressure already. That's gonna be an empty stadium for FAMU and Arky St if he pulls another Russell Bowl, and it won't get better from there.

Reminds me of Coker's UL game. He lost that in epic fashon early, and he, his defenders, and his team were fin.

What I'm saying is a coach who has essentially no scholarship limitations, and in his 4th year at the University of Miami, has no worldly business losing to unranked second division programs. Improvement would be putting up a fight against the Noles, or losing a close one to Nebraska or an epic dual with a vastly improved VTech that we come out just short in Blacksburg. No matter how you spin it, losing to UL is a terrible sign and IMO will confirm that Golden isn't the guy.

You're putting false info out based on what you want to believe.

I'm telling you directly from inside her office, she believes she was made a fool of during that situation. She was ****ed. He lost a lot of good will with her.

If you don't believe meet me somewhere.

Winn-Dixie, cool with you?

Somehow, the image of Donna "fuming" over something related to football just seems unlikely. Not that "somewhat miffed" would necessarily be totally out of range.
