On Monday night, ESPN's Shams Charania reported that former Miami Hurricane Bruce Brown is signing a one-year deal with the Denver Nuggets.



Brown spent last season with the Toronto Raptors, where he averaged 8.3 points and 4.0 rebounds over 41 games.

He’s a quality starting center playing backup, he’s not what he was but still very solid. So Joker finally can get rest during the playoffs. Adding Hardaway and Cam finally gives them consistent shooting which stops teams from triple teaming NJ. Bruce was a major part of the title run. Great defender / glue guy.

They went from no bench to being 8-9 deep. I wouldn’t be shocked if Braun goes back to the bench and Tim starts at 2. I liked MP but he’s been awful the last two years and he’s injury prone . Teams were just daring him and Braun to shoot. More importantly they got out of that awful Porter contract

Braun is not a starter imo nuggets can win a chip at this rate. I like what they are doing. They missed brown bad.
